We’ve been looking at John 3:16, and seeing that whoever trusts in Jesus shall not perish but have eternal life. Here’s a devotional poem from Christ-follower Robby Cekander seeing the same. It’s called “My Friends, I Met Jesus!”

I had
no future,
but now I have hope.

I was in
a maze of sin,
but now I have hope.

I still
have pain,
but now I have hope.

My friends,
I met Jesus!
I gave my days,
and sin,
and pain,
to Him!

And
now that I
have stopped
running from hope,
I have hope.
