We’ve been looking at 1 Corinthians 11:1, and seeing that we must follow the example of Christ. Here’s a devotional poem from Christ-follower Florence Oludemi of Nigeria seeing the same. It’s called “Let My Life Be Like Yours.”

Jesus,
my friend,
give me grace
as I am
passing through
this world:
let my life
be like yours.

At home,
at work,
with my neighbors,
with my church,
Jesus,
every day
let my life
be like yours.

In my closet,
when alone,
when no one
sees me
but you,
Jesus,
even there
let my life
be like yours.
